The FHA board is always looking for ways to improve communications to all its members and the global community. Currently we are using three different platforms.

Email

Emails will be sent to Seattle Floating Home members to make them aware important events that impact their day to day lives. To be kept informed please subscribe here

Facebook

The Seattle Floating Homes Association now has two Facebook locations:

https://www.facebook.com/FloatingHomesAssociation is a public page which anyone and everyone is welcome to follow. The Seattle FHA will use this page to share information useful to the community at large.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/SeattleFloatingHomesAssociation is a private group reserved for members of the Seattle FHA. It is a great way to openly discuss topics of interest with your neighbors and give feedback to your Seattle FHA Board. The group serves as timely and versatile replacement for the “Waterlog” which could only be published twice a year.  Now you have a way to let your neighbors know of all the great happenings on your dock and can add pictures and videos as well as relay congratulations and comments to your neighbors. Membership is be email invitation only. If you are a member of the Seattle FHA and have not received an invitation please email contact@seattlefloatinghomes.org

Web Site

The Seattle Floating Homes association Web site is constantly being updated with history, pictures and current events.  It has been reorganized so home owners, future home owners and just curious visitors can find a wide array of historical and current information.  We have added a list of helpful “Resources” that homeowners can reference on their cell phone or computer 365 days a year.

It gives a way for the rest of the world to get a glimpse of our unique community and understand why our floating home community is a Seattle Treasure that needs to be protected.  It helps explain why the floating home residents are such staunch advocates for protecting our lake and unusual variety of resident wildlife we make a home for that are not normally seen in a central city lake.
