FHA is again a prime sponsor for the Lake Union/Portage Bay Sweep. Try to set aside Saturday, May 9th to do your part in helping clean our water yard. The last few years, Diana Forman and I have planned and coordinated the Sweep with the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance. As it turns out, we will both be travelling (not together - for folks with over active imaginations) both prior to and on Sweep day. So I am asking for two volunteers to work with us in planning and then coordinating FHA volunteers at the Lake Union and Portage Bay sites. One other thing - I want to thank Molly Cadranell for allowing FHA to use the Best Management Practices she developed for her dock. FHA is using her work as part of the Lake Steward environmental program we are developing.
