Lake Union Oral History Project – Community Presentation

Holly Taylor, historian and Jennie Cecil Moore, audio producer with Jack Straw Productions have been working on Lake Union oral history interviews. This program will include a panel discussion on “Lake Union: Its Culture, from the People Who Live, Work and Play On It” with some of the folks who were interviewed and readings or recorded excerpts from other interviewees.

The project celebrates the voices and stories of boat builders, houseboat dwellers, bridge operators and others about the lake and its connection to a wide variety of people. The program is part of the regular 3rd Friday Speaker Series at The Center for Wooden Boats.
