Fireboat at Fisherman's Terminal has Changed
When: Thursday, February 5th, 2009
Where: Fisherman's Terminal Fire Station #3
What: "The veteran fireboat "Chief Seattle" has replaced the "Alki" at Fisherman's Terminal Fire Station #3. The "Chief" will not be staffed but will other wise be at the ready. As before, the full alarm firefighting team will travel by land from Station #5 on Elliott Bay. Depending on traffic this drive takes approximately 12 minutes."

The New Dock Watch Email Distribution List
This is the first Dock Watch that is being sent exclusively via the new distribution list service. The Dock Watch Captains no longer need to forward Dock Watch emails to their docks since everyone should be getting them directly. When you welcome new residents onto your dock please let them know about the FHA web site at www.seattlefloatinghomes.org and how to sign up for Dock Watch emails. The Dock Watch Captains still play an important role in the safety of each individual dock. As always please let me know about any information, incident or crime that you feel the rest of the floating home community would benefit from knowing about.
